Fazal in 2-1 win over Sharwadi

M. J. M. Lafir Trophy billiard and snooker championship organised by MICH commenced yesterday at the MICH hall, Dematagoda.

Thirteen snooker games and four billiards matches were completed on day one and most of the leading cueists made their way to the next round.

The highlight yesterday was the victory gained by M. L. M. Fazal the son of M. J. M. Lafir over experienced S. M. Sharwadi by two frames to one.
