CNCI seminar on Customs procedures
The Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI), the industrial
chamber in Sri Lanka will conduct a full day seminar/workshop on the
"Essential ingredients in Imports/Exports and Sri Lanka Customs
formulations and regulations. "The seminar will be held on Wednesday,
December 9, 2009 from 9 to 5 pm at the Russels Auditorium, Colombo 10.
The CNCI has organized the seminar for the benefit of the Sri Lankan
industrial/ manufacturing sector companies who are involved in the
import of essential raw materials and who export Sri Lankan products.
Since the officials who handle imports/exports and customs clearances
are expected to have a thorough knowledge of the procedures.
It is expected that documentations/ certifications/ approvals/ Inco
Terms 2000/ bank/ finance/ certifications/ HS Codes/rebate and drawbacks
will be extensively discussed by the presenters. Secretary General/ CEO
Kumara Kandalama said, these initiatives taken by the CNCI will be
purely to assist and update the knowledge of the Sri Lankan import and
the export sectors and thereby to enhance the performances of the
Company professionals and industrialists. |
