State takes over LTTE property

The Government will take over all LTTE property and assets in the possession of individuals and groups here and abroad . The LTTE has 14 ships, five of them belonging to self-appointed LTTE diaspora leader Kumaran Pathmanathan alias KP.

Two suspected vehicle hijackers arrested

Two suspects involved in hijacking vehicles from different parts of the country and selling them at reduced costs was arrested by the anti-corruption unit of the Matara police along with the stolen vehicles.
