Nominations on December 17:
The Presidential Election will be held on January
26, 2010. Nominations will be accepted from 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.
on December 17, Elections Commissioner announced yesterday. This
will be the country’s fifth Presidential poll to elect the sixth
Executive President.

UNP set for massive implosion
The UNP has deteriorated to the state of party
that was defeated at almost all elections and has now become a
