Suspect in lodge robbery nabbed

A lodge was broken into and jewellery valued more than Rs. 1.7 million had been robbed in Kotahena yesterday morning. The suspect was nabbed by Police. Police Spokesman SSP I.M. Karunaratne said a robber broke into a lodge located in Vivekananda Road around 5.50 a.m. and robbed jewellery from the residents. "The jewellery was valued over Rs. 1.7 million," he added.

Police nabbed the suspect along with stolen jewellery. The robber was a resident of Gurunagar, Jaffna.
