PC Pharma enhances knowledge base of pharmacists in Galle
PC Pharma, a fully owned subsidiary of PC House (Pvt) Ltd organized a
seminar for pharmacists and chemists in the Hikkaduwa and Galle areas.
The one-day program was carried out for 250 personnel on the importance
of hygiene storage.
Chairman PC House and PC Holdings SHM Rishan said, we believe that,
in the medical field, our customers' health is the most important
factor.
Every individual involved in the process should play their part in
the recovery of patient.
This is why we believe that education is the first step in producing
a medical fraternity that is informed and responsible. By providing the
pharmacists in Galle the right information on products and practices, we
believe that the pharmacies in the area will improve, resulting in
better service.
Head of Training and Brand Development for PC Pharma Sean Sheriff
said, "We should never just settle for mediocre services, especially
when it comes to the health and well-being of ourselves and our loved
ones.
Instilling best practices for pharmacies will ensure that the
medicines that are dispensed to patients are of good quality and will
not further complicate an ailment.
We also educated them on the importance of discouraging self
medication and educating pharmacists on the dangers of substituting
medicines prescribed by the doctor.
The public often has blind faith in the medical fraternity serving
them.
