"Mortein has consistently undertaken different initiatives to prevent
all mosquito borne diseases and the launch of this unique hexagonal coil
packed with 30 percent more active will be the most powerful coil in the
market", said Reckitt Benckiser's Managing Director, Reazul Chowdhury.
He was speaking at the launch of the new 'Power Booster ' coil.
Reckitt Benckiser's Marketing Director, Zakaria Ahmed said the new
coil had been developed subsequent to extensive global research and was
guaranteed to be the most effective coil. Though it's higher on
efficacy, it has been tested and approved by authorities to be entirely
safe for use.
Outlining the differences between the new 'Power Booster' and other
round coils, Category Manager Surangi Fernando said the coil which was
hexagonal in shape enabled it to have power boosters at each corner of
the coil whilst containing more active [d- trans allethrin]. "This
Innovation enables the coil to be packed with more active thus ensuring
the required power boost. Most standard coils have 0.10 percent actives
while the new coil has 0.13 percent active making it more effective."
"Mosquito borne diseases have been widespread across the country in
recent years. Hence an effective mosquito coil with superior has become
a necessity", said Ms Fernando.

Nokia charger exchange program
Nokia initiated a charger exchange program, in which consumers owning
certain Nokia-branded chargers manufactured by a third-party supplier
are recommended to exchange these chargers for free replacements.
Globally, three charger models manufactured by BYD within a specific
time period are affected. However, Nokia chargers purchased through
authorized distributors in Sri Lanka are not affected.
During a routine quality control process, Nokia identified a
potential quality issue with certain chargers manufactured by one of its
third-party suppliers. The plastic covers of the affected chargers could
come loose and separate, exposing the charger's internal components and
potentially posing an electrical shock.
