DPMC training programs in North, East

David Pieris Motor Company (DPMC), recently conducted a series of training programs for instructors and students of the technical training institutes in the North and the East.

Under the first phase of this CSR project, 17 instructors from Technical Colleges, Vocational Training Centres and Sarvodaya Training Centres in Jaffna, Vavuniya, Batticaloa, Kalawanchikudi, Sammanthurai and Ampara were provided comprehensive training in the maintenance and repair of Bajaj vehicles at the company's fully-equipped training facility at Bandaragama.

The program was conducted in two batches of 11 participants from September 7 to 18 and of 6 participants from October 5 to 16. Apart from technical training, the program included visits to DPMC's motorcycle and three-wheeler assembly plants at Madapatha.

The instructors were taken on a field visit to the company's warehouse complex at Bandaragama.
