Chalitha and Ishara clinch TT Titles

K.S.T. Chalitha Ranjana of Seylan Bank and Ishara Madurangi of Sri Lanka Air Force emerged Men's and Women's singles champions in the 63rd National Table Tennis Championships conducted by Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka which concluded at S. Thomas College Indoor Stadium, Mount Lavinia yesterday.

CIS and Gateway enter both cager finals

Despite the hot and wet weather of our country, the under 13 International Schools basketball tournament is finally nearing completion. The two girls’ semi-finals Colombo International School Vs OKI and Gateway College vs Lyceum, Wattala were played on dry ground. CIS beat OKI in a close match by 16-14 after leading 10-4 at half time. The OKI girls played basketball in ‘Netball’ style to give a good fight to the CIS girls had the advantage of playing on their home court. For CIS Suhara top scored with 8 points while for the losers Amanda top scored with 8 too.
