Budget 2010 after Election - Minister
The Government will present the 2010 budget
following the parliamentary general election. It will be presented
under the new Parliament after April by integrating it to the on
going 10 year budget development plan, Finance and State Revenue
Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya said.

Cabinet approves Vote on Account
The Cabinet had approved President Mahinda
Rajapaksa’s proposal to present a Vote on Account for 2010 at its
meeting on October 16, for four months to cover the Government
expenditure till a budget is presented in Parliament, Mass Media and
Information and Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion
Minister Anura Priyadarshana Yapa said at the weekly Cabinet press
briefing yesterday.
