Man killed

A man was found dead killed by a blow on the head in Lomanwatte, Kalutara south yesterday morning.

Police spokesman Senior DIG Nimal Mediwake said on information received the police emergency recovered a body of a man with head injuries at a cinnamon garden in the Lomanwatte area around 11.00am.

”It is believed that the victim was killed by a blow on his head dealt by a sharp weapon,” he added.

The victim was identified as N.A. Gunaratne (36), a resident of Bosevenagama, Kalutara.
