Sri Lanka under 19 win by three wickets

A superb knock of 85 by left hander Kithruwan Vithanage helped the Sri Lanka Under 19 team to beat Australian Northern Territory by three wickets in their match played in Darwin, Australia on Wednesday.

The homesters taking first lease of the wicket scored 210 helped by two fine knocks by A. Williams (54) and D. Short (53). In reply Sri Lanka under 19 team reached the victory target in 48.3 overs with Vithanage (85) and Romesh Buddhika (45) making valuable contributions.

Northern Territory 209 all out in 47.4 overs

(A. Williams 54, D. Short 53, I. Radpath 18, J. Flynn 16, Rushen Jaleel 4/30, Danuska Gunatilake 2/35, Chathura Peiris 2/36).

Sri Lanka Under 19 211/7 in 48.3 overs

(Kithruwan Vithanage 85, Rumesh Buddika 45, Danushka Guanathilaka 26, Andry Berenger 21, M. Hartney 3/44, M. Hanna 2/29).
