New MBA batch at PIM

The Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM) recently inaugurated its MBA program for a new batch of student-managers. PIM's restructured MBA program, now spans exactly two years, and includes a list of mandatory courses, elective courses and a research/skills project. PIM pioneered the MBA program in Sri Lanka over two decades ago, and continues to conduct the country's leading MBA program.

PIM's MBA program aims at creating MBA's who have the required mindset and competence, both hard and soft, which will enable them to be MBA's rather than merely have an MBA.

The MBA qualification must go beyond a title and a certificate. It must be accompanied by an attitudinal and competency set, that will make the student capable of significantly raising the performance level of the organization.

PIM, Director, Dr. Uditha Liyanage, founder Director and Senior Professor of Management, Prof. Gunapala Nanayakkara and Dr. Wickrema Weerasooria, of the senior faculty also spoke.
