Japanese technology for bakery owners
The Ministry of Industrial Development will support bakery owners by
providing Japanese technology to produce and popularize bread made out
of rice in the country under "Sahalata Multhana " project.
This was announced at the workshop to promote the commercial
production of bread and other bakery products made of rice using
Japanese technology.
The event took place at Ceylon Intercontinental Hotel,Colombo on
Friday.
This was an initiative of the Ministry of Industrial Development in
conjunction with the Maubima Lanka Foundation with the objective of
supplying nutritional and healthy rice- based foods to the Sri Lankan
consumer.
