Qualifiers for Provincial Volleyball tourney

The Dialog President's Gold Cup Volleyball championship began last weekend with seven districts completing their matches in their respective districts. The winner and three runners-up teams in men and women categories of these games have qualified to play in the Provincial level.

The official opening ceremony of this championship was held at Galle Fort's Volleyball courts under the patronage of Sesath Gamage and Mahinda Bandara Herath Vice President of Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation.

The championship which commenced in 2005 with only 412 teams has gained its momentum and this year over 1500 teams have entered the fray. The championship is sponsored lavishly by Dialog Telekom limited. The qualifiers for the Provincial Championship are:
