Mapitigama brings Nadu Ahana Walawwa

Experienced actor Joe Abeywickrama returns to the mini screen in the
lead role of Chandraratne Mapitigama's newest teledrama Nadu Ahana
Walawwa. The Muhurath ceremony of the teledrama which is produced by
popular cinema and teledrama actress Nuwangi Liyanage on behalf of Gee
Films took place recently amidst several distinguished guests in the
arts scene.
Parliamentarian Wimal Weerawansa, journalist Kamal Deshapriya and
head of Shiran Tele Cine Mark Anthoney Fernando graced the occasion.
Nadu Ahana Walawwa will be Gee Film's maiden production.
Abeywickrama portrays the stern and snobbish character who is the
head of a mansion popularly known among the villagers as Usavi Gedara
(Court house). The man's son is a lawyer. Umayangana Wickramasinghe who
reached the height of fame through her character Dedunu in Itin Eeta
Passe will take on the role of a dumb girl working in the mansion.
The script and production coordination is by Sanjeewa Samaraweera.
Sujith Nishantha is the cameraman, Ashoka Chaminda Vass the art
director, Suresh Indika the make up artist and Chandana Edirisinghe the
assistant director of Nadu Ahana Walawwa. Priyantha Kahalyarachchi is
the Production Manager. The story is by Sarath Mahindasiri. Nilantha
Siripathirana handles the music.
