Easy win for Panadura SC

Former Benedictine Carmen Mapatuna hit a sparkling 127 runs in 114 balls occupying the crease for 117 minutes. He had ten boundaries and sixes and also associated in a 113 runs eight wicket partnership with Malith Chaturanga who contributed 27 runs. This enabled Panadura Sports Club to beat Moratuwa Sports Club by 181 runs in their inter club Premier limited overs cricket match organized by SLC. Pubudu Ranaweera claimed 3 for 46.

Moratuwites in reply were shot out for a paltry 73 runs with Ranga Cooray doing the damage with 4 for 12.

Panadura SC 254 in 49.1 overs (Carmen Mapatuna 127, Tharindu Crishan 46, Malith Chaturanga 27, Pubudu Ranaweera 3 for 46, Milindu Fernando 2 for 38, Sudeera de Soysa 2 for 36).

MSC 73 in 30.3 overs (Danuja Nadun 2 for 21, Malith Chaturanga 2 for 15, Ranga Cooray 4 for 12).
