Mushroom delights

Mushrooms do not just give out a wonderful taste, but it guarantees
your health too. As long as it is accessible in the closest market, you
have nothing to worry as a vegetarian. Did you know that your mushroom
meal gives you phosphorus, magnesium, potassium - all these rarely found
in highly processed food? Plus this meal hasn’t got fat or cholesterol
at all.
Gardening the vegetables is a common practice now, but I would advise
you against mushroom gardening. You have to be a sort of an expert to
differentiate the toxic ones - which can be lethal at times - from good
ones. So better bank on what the market sells.
The following mushroom recipes are mainly batters, but of two
different kinds: gram flour and egg. They are both high protein, and a
good replacement for the meat. But please make sure to use salt very
sparingly, because large amounts not only ruin your favourite dish, but
it affects your health too.
It doesn’t take more than half an hour when you get used to this
recipe. So over to you to feel the heavenly delight of mushrooms!

Egg batter mushroom
Ingredients:
3 Eggs
2 Garlics, cored and chopped
1 packet of mushroom
Salt
Chilli powder
Vegetable oil
Black pepper
Flour
Soya Sauce
Method:
Beat the eggs well. Mix it with flour to make an egg batter. Add
garlics, chilli powder, soya sauce and black pepper to the batter. In
the meanwhile smash the mushroom into small pieces. Soak the smashed
mushroom in the batter, and deep fry until turns gold. You can pour soya
sauce to make it delicious, before serving.

Fried mushroom in gram flour batter
Ingredients:
1 packet of mushroom
Salt
Chilli
Vegetable oil
Black pepper
2 Onion, cored and chopped
Gram flour
Soya Sauce
Curry leaves
Water
Method:
Smash mushroom into small pieces and place it in a separate bowl. Add
chilli, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Add water to gram flour to
make the batter. Soak the mushroom pieces in the gram flour batter, and
deep fry until it turns gold.
Place another pan with vegetable oil on the heat and mix it with
chopped onions and curry leaves. Add the fried mushroom into this pan
and stir well. This will make the dish crispy.
