Lankagama village developed

A remote village Lankagama in Hinidum Pattu - Neluwa Divisional Secretariat area is rapidly developed under the Mahinda Chinthana concept.

A 22 kilometre distance of Neluwa - Lankagama road via Mawita is being concreted by the Southern Development Authority at a cost of Rs. 15 million.

Doovili Ella waterfall at Kosmulla near this road has already been developed as an attractive place of tourists, protecting environment and natural beauty. Several mini hydro power projects have been launched. Lankagama Vidyalaya was also well developed.
