The Asian Shippers’ Council at its Fifth Annual General Meeting on August 15, unanimously decided to move its permanent secretariat from Singapore to Colombo. The Council has decided to appoint Ports and Aviation Minister Chamal Rajapaksa as adviser of the Council once the secretariat is set up in Colombo. Here Ports and Aviation Minister Chamal Rajapaksa handing over the report on the project to President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees. Ports Authority and BOI Director Eshana de Silva and Asian Shippers’ Council Director General Rohan Masakorala were also present.
