The Asian Shippers’ Council at its Fifth Annual General Meeting on August 15, unanimously decided to move its permanent secretariat from Singapore to Colombo. The Council has decided to appoint Ports and Aviation Minister Chamal Rajapaksa as adviser of the Council once the secretariat is set up in Colombo.
