Anoj pilots Bloomfield to victory

All rounder Anoj Ketaperachchi hit a sparkling 94 inclusive of five sixes and six boundaries to spearhead Bloomfield to a thrilling first innings victory over Colts CC in their SLC under 23 division one two day cricket tournament match concluded at Reid Avenue yesterday.

Colts CC: 140 and 23 for 2.

Bloomfield: 172 for 9 decl (A. Ketaperachchi 94, D. Auwardt 5 for 63, R. Weerasinghe 4 for 53).

Opener Anuk Silva hit a fighting half century but NCC had to be content with a no decision in their rain hit SLC under 23 division one two day cricket tournament match against Ragama CC concluded at Thurstan College grounds yesterday.

Ragama CC: 224.

NCC: 124 for 4 (A. Silva 55, M. Kumara 2 for 37).

Superb 102 by Buddhi

Opener Buddhi Samarawickrema hit a superb 102 but Seeduwa Raddoluwa CC had to be satisfied with a no decision in their rain hit SLC under 23 division one two day cricket tournament match against Panadura SC concluded at Panadura yesterday.

Seeduwa RCC: 387 for 6 decl (B. Samarawickrema 102, L. de Silva 50, I. Massalage 56, G. Kumara 48, S. Kamaleen 56, R. Tharinda 3 for 96).

Panadura SC: 210 for 6 (A. Fernando 60 n.o, M. Umesh 56 n.o, C. Gayan 4 for 37).

Milindu takes 6 for 69

Leg spinner Milindu Fernando snapped up six wickets for 69 to help Moratuwa SC beat Kurunegala YCC on the first innings in their SLC under 23 division one two day cricket tournament match concluded at the Welagedera Stadium yesterday.

Moratuwa SC: 278 and 30 for 1.

Kurunegala YCC: 267 (R. Ratnayake 105, U. Bandara 26, S. Saninda 61, T. Herath 28, M. Fernando 6 for 69, S. Gunawardena 2 for 46).
