Indian carromites maintain superiority
Indian carromites again kept their supremacy intact winning the 3rd
Asian championship soon after winning the 13th SAARC championship a week
ago. The Asian tournament was conducted in Pune. The highlight was that
all finals were competed by India and Sri Lanka.
Though Bangladesh and Maldivian carromites were seen in action they
failed to reach any of the finals. Sri Lanka was represented by Chamil
Cooray, D.N. Fernando, Viraj Fernando (men) and Rashika Rahubadde,
Nayana Wickramasinghe and Roshita Joseph (women).
