Tenny brings 'Thank you Berty'

Popular actor Tennyson Cooray who had portrayed some memorable comic
roles on the screen will turn director with his debut movie 'Thank you
Berty'.

The muhurath ceremony of the movie was held recently in Negambo
amidst the cast, crew and well-wishers. Tennyson's long time off and on
screen comrade, actor Bandu Samarasinghe will partner him after a four
year lapse in 'Thank You Berty' along with Nilanthi Dias, Anusha
Damayanthi and Dilhani Ashokamala. Nilanthi will portray the role of
Cooray's wife while Anusha will partner Samarasinghe in this hilarious
tale.
Besides these actors several others like Ananda Wickramage, Mahendra
Perera Cletus Mendis, Manel Wanaguru, Wimal Kumar de Costa, Ronnie
Leitch, Ariyasena Gamage, Samanthi Lanerolle, Susila Kottage, Susila
Kuragama, Premadasa Vithanage, Rajitha Hiran, Jeevan Handuneththi,
Mahinda Pathirage, Don Guy and Teddy Vidyalankara will also portray key
roles.
Besides directing the story and script is also by Cooray. Jagath M.
Yapa will produce the film on behalf of Galuku Entertainment.
Lalith Thomas and Nimalsiri Rosa are the cinematographers for the
movie on which Donald Jayantha is the assistant director. The art
director is Sumith Hiran. Make up is by Indika Udara and M. S. Aliman is
the editor. Music is by Somapala Ratnayake, lyrics are by Chandradasa
Fernando and the background vocals are be Uresha Ravihari, Sangeeth
Wickramasinghe and Sangeeth Wijesuriya.
Wasantha Kumaravila handles the stunt direction while the production
manager is Ashoka Ariyaratne. |
