United States must suit changes - Raul Castro
Cuba: Cuban President Raul Castro warned Tuesday the predominant
interests in the United States that the only solution is to suit changes
worldwide and Latin America, or everlasting confrontation will return.
Addressing the inauguration of Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa
re-elected until 2013 in front of 30,000 people assembled at this
capital’s Atahualpa Olympic Stadium, Raul Castro analyzed Washington’s
contradictions faced with the coup d’etat.
“President Barack Obama condemns the coup, but he is not the only one
who opened the cage to the fascists,” the island’s states said.
“They are the same who have the key, because nobody in this continent
carries out a coup d’etat if he is not authorized by the United States,”
the Cuban statesman stressed.
“A recent happening is missing, the seven US military bases to which
Colombia has opened doors. So Honduras’ happenings are marked by great
importance and what occurred in Colombia is the perfect complement,” the
island head of States noted.
The Cuban statesman read a message from Fidel Castro to Correa.
He says Correa made a serious, emotive and persuasive speech and the
delegation accompanying him shared that impression, as his discourse
will make history. The Cuban president congratulated Correa for being at
the service of his compatriots and ratified the Cuban decision of
supporting the Ecuadorian people. Quito, Prensa Latina
