He is the grandfather of Rushmi, Dilini, Praveen, Vijini, Naveen, Suthesan, Sutheshi, Romesh, Rhona, Rhiane, Ramya, Rubica, Shamanthy, Adrian, Ashwin, Calvin, Aravin, Jonathan and Rebecca.
