The Royal College 1st XV ruggerites were felicitated in recognition
of their outstanding achievement of being winners of the President's
Trophy 2009 at the Royal College Union Skills Centre recently.
It was organised by the Royal College Union. The Royal rugby team won
all 10 matches and also won four challenge trophies.
The Principal of the College Upali Gunesekera presented souvenirs to
the members of the rugby team, rugby Advisory and Management Committee
Chairman Col. Harin Malwatte and the coaches.

Captain Naren Dhason and others also spoke.
Parents of the rugby players and students participated at the event. |
