Moves to conduct fault free term tests

Moves are underway by the Education Ministry to conduct fault free school term tests in due course, the Education Ministry sources revealed.

Under this, the Education Ministry will hold talks with Provincial Education Departments aiming to mitigate the school term test procedure following the great hue and cry about the shortcomings of the ongoing term tests.

The Education Ministry points out that the responsibility of properly conducting school term tests goes to the Provincial Education Departments. Accordingly Provincial Education officials should take measures to ensure fault free examinations. "It is also the duty of the Provincial Director of Education Development as the officer to monitor the examination procedure closely and take appropriate measures if anything goes wrong," the Education Department sources said.
