Strengthening Govt protects democracy

At this important juncture strengthening the Government is the prime duty of the public to protect the democracy that we regained after three decades, said Manel Ratnayake, the ex-leader of the Uva provincial council and the UPFA candidate of the forthcoming Uva p.c. election at the maiden meeting of the Education Professionals Forum held at the Simon Peiris Memorial Conference Hall, Badulla. He said he expects to avoid the corruptions, inefficiencies of the Uva PC and render a pure and transparent service to the masses.

Education Officers, Principals, Teachers, Minor staffs and all the others in the field of education in Uva Province got together and formed this 'Education Professionals Forum'.

This Forum can make a combine effort to solve their problems and develop the whole education system in Uva Province.

I am willing to give my helping hand to this forum to develop the education in Uva province and solve their professional problems, He said.

Badulla Mayor U.N. Gunasekera said, Pure and uncorrupted service is must to develop this Province. We should not support to anyone to do any corrupted activities. Rendering a genuine social service is the prime aim of President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
