A scene from Sinidu Piyapath

Sinidu Piyapath flows with a tinge of melancholy and soft love to awaken the slumberous young ones lost in unrealistic dreams

Saroja is a 16-year old who is living in the hill station with her parents, sister and brother, Nalaka. The family is acquainted with Gamini, a young man who had leased a piece of land for their cultivation.

Nalaka’s university friend Santhush lodges near Saroja’s house to complete his project for his studies. Santhush’s rock-star looks mesmerizes the young girl who had been attracted to Gamini in the first instance. This new infatuation irritates Gamini as well as Simon, Saroja’s domestic aide.

Santhush, on the other hand was enjoying the attention though he already had an affair with a girl named Tharika. Saroja is saddened by his behaviour and tells everyone that she had conceived Santhush’s child. Santhush refuses this accusation as Gamini and Simon try to help out Saroja.
