The Burgher Association Soft-Ball Cricket Sixes

The Burgher Association Softball Cricket Sixes Tournament and Family Sports Day will be held on Sunday July 19 at the Wesley College Grounds commencing 8.00 a.m.

The entire day's events will include a keenly contested softball cricket sixes tournament among several teams representing various zones for the Burgher Association Challenge Trophy, as well as other entertainment and sports events for the members of the association and their families.

There will be three categories of contestants for the cricket tournament viz., Men's under 40, Men's over 40 and Women's.

Awards will include prizes for Best Batsman, Best Batswoman and Best Bowler.

Other activities of the day will include a test of strength at a keenly contested tug-o-war, fun games for children, teens, adults and senior citizens.

This event is a family sports event of the association which has been successfully held on five previous occasions and will attract a large number of members, their families and guests. Maxi Rozairo, Founder and Patron of the Burgher Association and Mrs. Yasmin Rozairo will be the Chief Guests at the awards ceremony.
