Harith a rising star

Harith Madhuwantha, a product of DS Senanayake College Colombo, accounted for an excellent show recently when he captured nine wickets for just 16 runs in a Lakbima trophy Junior 15 Tier-A tournament limited over match against St. Thomas' College Collpetty. His nine wicket haul included a hat-trick too.

Harith, who is good at both cricket and swimming, has won the second place in the 50m backstroke event of under-16 All Island swimming competition and was placed second in the National age group swimming championships too.
