Golden Key case:
Court to act only on JMO's reports

Mount Lavinia Chief Magistrate and Additional District Judge Harsha
Sethunga, hearing the alleged Golden Key Credit Card fraud, said the
Court will act only on medical reports submitted to court by the JMO in
respect of the suspects who are suffering from serious illnesses.
The Judge made this observation when Shamila Amarawickrema, counsel
for a suspect, submitted that her client is suffering from cancer and
had to obtain special treatment from the Colombo National Hospital.
The Judge further remanded the suspects of the till July 16.
The Judge reserved the order in respect of Chairman Lalith Kotalawela
for July 16, as his bail application is pending before the Colombo High
Court. The case will be called again on July 16.
