Amana Takafal take on Softlogic SC in this final. Amana Takaful led by F.M. Zazarullah includes many players who are engaged in the Premier League tourney and this will give them an extra advantage for their experience. Softlogic SC though they cannot boast of national level players have come up well during this tournament. They maintained their class what they achieved last year becoming runners-up to Hirdaramani Group.

They defeated SriLankan Airlines 2-0 and later got the better of Hirdaramani 3-0. Their rivals in the final overcame HNB 4-3 and the defending champions Eskimo House 3-1.

Lake House SC before reaching the final had to face stiff opposition in the early game against John Keells SC which ended in a one-all draw and on the tie breaker system managed to win the match at 4-2.

This was mainly due to the hard work put on by the Printers custodian Wickramaratne who saved two vital kicks from their opponents.

Duminda Hettiarachchi and M.V. Surendra are the key players the Lake House bank onto make a win here with skipper and custodian S.S. Wickramaratne playing at his best at present to give advantage for the Lake House team. Hayleys too have performed well to reach the final. The team led by Imes Soza is sure to pose a big threat to the Printer's team today.

Softlogic beat SLA 2-0. Amana beat HNB 4-3 (penalty shoot out), Softlogic beat Hirdaramani 3-0, Amana beat Eskimo Fashions 3-1.
