Contract awarded to Serendib Horticulture

Serendib Horticulture Technologies (Pvt) Ltd. recently concluded a feasibility study for the Ministry of Agriculture, State of Qatar to set up a Regional Plant Biotechnology Centre in Qatar.

The Final Report was received by the Ministry of Agriculture, Qatar. The contract awarded to Serendib Horticulture overcoming competition from other international biotechnology companies, was the first that has been undertaken by a Sri Lankan company.

The study done by a group of consultants led by Chairman, Serendib Horticulture Dilip de Silva consisted of an in depth study of all plant biotechnology activities in the Gulf Region.
