Why are Mubarak and Chamara given so many chances?

It was so close yet so far. The stumble at the final hurdle has many reasons.

The selectors must take all the blame. Every cricket fan is wondering where we went wrong.

Why is Mubarak being given so many chances? He is the most lethargic and pathetic cricketer anyone has seen. He seems to have some great influence in the Board to be tried over and over again.

De Saram has not been given his due chance. I am not a Royalist but Mubarak is a disgrace to this great school that has produced some brilliant cricketers. Chamara Silva is not worth his place and many deserving cricketers have been overlooked.

I am not trying to be an armchair critic but this does not augur weel for the most popular sport in the country.
