Kandy Sports Club head points table

Kandy Sports Club which is aiming to retain the Caltex 'A' Division League Rugby Title for a record ninth successive year heads the points table with 27.00 points from six games after their runaway 73-12 win over Havelocks Sports Club on Sunday at Havelock Park.

Their closest challengers CR and FC who are making a determined bid to clinch the League Title which has eluded them for the last ten years are in second place with 26.50 points from six matches after their hard fought 17-10 win over CH and FC on Friday at Maitland Crescent.

The Sri Lanka Army which is enjoying one of their best seasons in recent years remain in third position with 16.00 points from six outings having registered their fourth win for the season by overcoming Sri Lanka Air Force by 20-8 on Saturday at Police Park. The Sri Lanka Navy have climbed upto fourth place after their smashing 27-3 win over Police on Sunday with CH and FC slipping down to fifth position.
