10th batch of soldiers Haiti bound

The 10th batch of Sri Lankan soldiers to be sent to Haiti for peace keeping duties held its passing out parade at the Panagoda Army Camp on June 10.

Army Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. G. A. Chandrasiri took the salute as the chief guest while Lt. Col. S. P. K. A. Pilapitiya commanded the parade.

This batch comprises 52 officers and 697 other ranks.
