Maliyadeva to hold Ranaviru Pranama ceremony
The Maliyadeva College, Kurunegala OBA has planned to hold a 'Ranaviru
Pranama' ceremony to pay tribute to war heroes and police personnel,
past and present, who have contributed towards the successful conclusion
of the humanitarian war to liberate the country from terrorism.
Maliyadeva College OBA in a press release said it hoped to collect
data about all Maliyadeva products who are currently on duty, in
retirement, disabled or departed to make this event a success.
Details including name, rank, service number, contact number,
relevant Regiment or unit and the period of study at Maliyadeva should
be furnished to the Maliyadeva OBA Office at Negombo Road Kurunegala on
or before June 30.
As regards disabled or deported war heroes or police personnel the
next of kin could furnish the above details.
