Wet weather till today

The current wet weather will wane off within the next 24 hours, a Meteorology Department official told the Daily News yesterday.

Rains will continue until Saturday. This is mainly due to a newly formed cyclonic condition in the Pacific Ocean, the official said.

He added that the depression in the Bay of Bengal had already ceased and had no effect on the prevailing weather condition.
