Museum in honour of two top sports stars

A sports museum of two veteran sports stars in Sabaragamuwa District R. A. Chandradasa and K. G. G. Menike will be commissioned by Youth Affairs Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi on June 15 at 9.30 a.m. at the National Housing Scheme at Hikgashena, Delgamuwa, Kuruwita.

The medals, badges, cups, trophies, paper articles, pictures and costumes will be restored and exhibited in this Sports Museum to be witnessed by the future generation.

The President of Ratnapura Volleyball Association and Sabaragamuwa Provincial Councillor Kanchana Jayaratne. The member of Kuruwita Pradeshiya Sabha Asanka Dilshan Leelaratne and the Chairman and Director General of the National Youth Services Council Bhaswara Senaka Gunaratne also will grace the occasion.
