Government to implement 13th Amendment
The Government has planned to implement the 13th
Amendment to Constitution speedily in the North, after the Local
Council elections in Jaffna and Vavuniya, Media Minister Lakshman
Yapa Abeywardana said.

UNP blindly following West - Udith Lokubandara
W. J. M. Udith Lokubandara, son of Speaker W. J.
M. Lokubandara said he would gladly accept the post of Badulla
district SLFP organiser offered to him by President Mahinda
Rajapaksa on his wedding day because he cannot play any positive
role in the UNP which was blindly following the West in its policies
and programs.
