SLCB residential course

The Sri Lanka Convention Bureau, (SLCB), a statutory body under the Ministry of Tourism will hold the SLCB Mice Professional Development Program for the seventh consecutive year from June 18-20 at the Earls Regency, Kandy.

The residential course conducted by internationally renowned MICE (Meetings, Incentive tours, Conferences, Exhibitions) professionals has so far trained hundreds of state and private sector personnel directly and indirectly engaged in the MICE industry.

The organizers are targeting Middle Managers and Executives of Professional Conference and Exhibition Organizers, Event Management Companies, Destination Management Companies, Conference Hotels, Conference/Exhibition Centres, Airlines, Divisions of Government Organizations handling meetings and events and other support services.

The program covers areas such as Research and Information Gathering, Introduction to Conference Industry, Corporate Meetings and Government Meetings, Preparing and Presenting a Bid, Project Planning, Budget and Profit Making, Sponsorship, Sales/Marketing Strategies, Destination Marketing, Promotion of Events, Social Program and Protocol, Incentive Travel, Outdoor Activities for MICE and other areas relevant to the MICE industry followed by case studies, group work and presentations.
