Civilians desert LTTE:
Final influx massive
A huge influx of civilians once again started to
flow into the military controlled areas as Security Forces were
ready laying siege on the remaining Tiger controlled areas yesterday
whilst ground troops uncovered huge stocks of arms and ammunition of
the LTTE from the areas they captured

Tiger terror’s end imminent
President Mahinda Rajapaksa said on Thursday
that Sri Lankan Security Forces will be able to wipe out LTTE
terrorists now restricted to a small stretch of land in Mullaitivu
and rescue the balance civilians held under their clutches within

Navy captures Soosai’s fleeing family
The Navy captured Sea Tiger leader Soosai’s
family members while they were attempting to escape by sea in
Mullaitivu area during the wee hours of yesterday. Soosai is with
LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran, Soosai’s wife has said.

Jetavana Stupa opens on June 4
The Jetavana Stupa after the completion of its
conservation project will be unveiled for public worship on June 4
by President Mahinda Rajapaksa. Sponsored by the Central Cultural
Fund the renovation and conservation work of the Jetavana Stupa

Suspect leaps to death; Three more suicide

A 32-year-old LTTE suspect committed suicide by
jumping out of a seven storied building at 37th Lane, Wellawatte
during a raid conducted in Wellawatte on Thursday night at 9.35 p.m.
