'Certified Manager' launched

'Certified Manager', the official journal of the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) was launched on April 28 at the Hotel Taj Samudra.

The formation of ICPM was the outcome of a project initiated by the Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA) and All India Management Association, India (AIMA).

President of ICPM Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala presented the first copy to Country Director, Sri Lankan Mission of Asian Development Bank Dr. Richard Vokes.

Vice Chairman, Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Dr. Anura Ekanayake in his review said the theme on the Journal Global Economic Crisis and its Impact on Local Business Sectors is a timely theme.

"The magazine will be made available free to its members, libraries of professional organizations, universities and leading schools for reference," Director of ICPM, Devinda Jayasooriya said.

ICPM has already launched its academic path that leads to a Diploma In Management.
