ASEAN+3 Health Ministers meet
BANGKOK: The ministerial session of two-day ASEAN Plus Three
Health Ministers special meeting opened yesterday morning in Bangkok,
with Thailand claiming its support for five measures to conquer the
A/H1N1 flu, including the setup of epidemics update network.
In a statement issued by Thai Health Ministry, Thailand also supports
the measures of the deployment of international rapid investigative
response teams along borders, the cooperation on laboratory system, the
establishment of exit screening system which screens travelers leaving
affected areas, and collaboration on research and development.

The two-day ASEAN Plus Three health ministers' special meeting on
A/H1N1 Influenza kicked off Thursday in a bid to find more efficient and
collaborative ways to prevent and combat the possible pandemic of A/H1N1
