No Sri Lankans died in Tamil Nadu fire

Contrary to the IANS news report we carried in this page yesterday, no Sri Lankans have died in the fire at an oil mill in Tamil Nadu, Sri Lankan Deputy High Commissioner T. M. Amza confirmed yesterday to the Daily News.

Out of the 14 persons who died, 13 were from Bihar and one from Tamil Nadu, he added.
