Funds for Open University building

Minister of Resettlement and Disaster Assistance Services Rishard Bathiyudeen has allocated a sum of Rupees Two Million in order to expedite the work of the Open University Building in Puttalam.

According to the Parliamentary Affairs Secretary of the Minister S. R. M. M. Irshard this is being done at the request of the Deputy Minister of Livestock Development K. A. Baiz. Irshard further elaborated, and stated that Minister Rishard Bathiyudeen has made this allocation as he was anxious to raise the standard of education in the Puttalam area.
