Meritorious deed by Ranasetha

The Hambantota district Ranasetha foundation donated a house worth Rs. 1,350,000 to an ex-soldiers family.

The recipient of the house was M. R. P. Mithrapala, aged 57 a father of two daughters and a son is a resident of Kadurapokuna, Tangalle.

The house in which they lived was cadjan thatched. It was sans walls and polythene was used for the walls instead of bricks and cement.

The newly built house was vested with the family by the Minister of Ports and Aviation Chamal Rajapaksa.

The Minister of Water Supply Mahinda Amaraweera was also present.

The District Secretary, Hambantota R. M. D. B. Meegasmulla, Tangalle D. S. Priyanga Hadunhewa, coordinator to the President Nishantha Jayasingha, SSP Tangalle Neil Daluwatta, ASP Tangalle G. G. J. Chandra Kumara, Tangalle PS Chairman Lalitha Wanigasekera, Deputy Chairman Tangalle Nishantha Sadabarana were among those present at the presentation.
