ISF elects president

Priority must be first given to upgrade the standard of Junior Security Officers and Supervisory Staff, who are the backbone of the Private Security Industry, the newly elected President of the Industrial Security Foundation (Sri Lanka) (ISF) Dilip De Silva said.

We must also ensure that welfare measures and adequate facilities are provided to the persons who matter most.

He was addressing the 17 Annual General Meeting of the ISF held on March 28 at the Capri Club.

De Silva said that the Security Service Providers and the Industrial Security Foundation should get together and work towards the ultimate goal of improving the Security Industry, in general and ensure that proper professional standards are maintained in the industry.

Dilip De Silva is the Chairman of Venture Group of Companies. He is a veteran professional in the Security Industry and a Fellow of the Industrial Security Foundation (ISF) Sri Lanka and a Fellow of the Institute of Planting and a Justice of Peace.
