Adaaran ‘Select’ Hudhuran Fushi wins Presidential Award
Adaaran ‘Select’ Hudhuran Fushi won the Presidential award for the
highest occupancy in the Maldives in the 300 beds and above category.
Maldivian President Mohammed Nasheed presented the award to the
Director/General Manager - Administration of Adaaran Resorts Mohamed
Mahdy at a function held to mark the Maldivian National Day.
The Presidential Awards for the highest occupancy have been presented
since 1995 to recognize market performance of the tourism industry in
the country. The prestigious award is the first of its kind given by the
President of the Maldives to the tourism industry.
Adaaran ‘Select’ Hudhuran Fushi which means the ‘island of white
gold’ that depicts the ambience of this island resort, with its natural
